Hello all, I just got my Asus AMD Radeon 7770 today and installed it. It's the 2GB and GDDR5 version. After going thru quite a few driver installs I finally got the newest drivers from AMD for it and it works great. For what I need anyway. (So far. *crosses fingers*) I am able to get the two displays that are hooked up to the DVI ports to work fine, but when I try to extend the display to my TV thru the HDMI hookup it won't allow me to. It won't save settings. I tried it thru the AMD software that came with the drivers, and no dice there either. It's saying disabled. I checked the HDMI cable going into the TV and the card and it's in there. When I start my machine, it will display on the TV and my second monitor but not my main monitor, but when Windows password comes up it switches back to my monitors and not the TV. What do I need to do to use both DVI hookups and the HDMI? Or what am I doing wrong I should say.
This card has four outputs on it. The two DVI, one HDMI and a display port.
Thank you!!!

Solution
No problem.
With Eyefinity is that no matter what ports you're using for connecting 2 monitors, for the third one you need the displayport and if the monitor does not have a displayport, then you need an active adapter.

Thank you for the reply alexoiu!
I had looked at that while searching around trying to figure this out. I have an adapter on the way for the display port to go to another DVI. I was thinking that the HDMI output on the card would work also though. Does the HDMI output on the card not work if there is DVI hooked up? I'm fairly new to GPU's so I really have no idea. It's just kind of odd to me that it would have the HDMI output and one would have to buy and adapter to hook up HDMI. Like I said though, this is my first GPU and I haven't a clue.

So if there are two monitors running, the HDMI is disabled? Gotya. Thank you!!! I guess I can disable a monitor and turn on the HDMI if she's laying in bed watching a DVD and I'm on the PC. That'll be no problem.

Thank you very much alexoiu!!!
