Crysis 3 stutters in the beginning of the level when first launch.

So I have a bit of a problem lately with Crysis 3. It seems that every time I launch Crysis 3 for the first time the game will have an insane stutter when doing a 360 turn. I think it is due to my HDD but I'm not quite sure yet. I haven't really found anyone with this problem so it might be just me.
My Specs:
Intel Core i5 4690K
GSkill 8 GB Ram 1333 MHZ
EVGA GTX 760 ACX/SC
Seagate 320 GB 7200 RPM HDD
Thermaltake TR2 600W Power Supply
Gigabyte H81M-H / rev. 1.1 Micro ATX Motherboard

Solution
This shows that there were some bad sectors on your HDD and they were reallocated. Unfortunately, bad sectors will continue to appear until the HDD fails.
My advise would be to get another HDD as this one is unreliable. I guess you can use it for storing non important data on it.

Hi there K-Hype,

As you think that you HDD may be causing this, you can just test it with a brand specific HDD testing tool. The results will provide the overall health status of the drive. If there is something wrong with it, I would advise you to back up the data that is stored on it.
Apart from that, freeing up some HDD space is always a good idea. Check this out: http://www.howtogeek.com/125923/7-ways-to-free-up-hard-disk-space-on-windows/
You can defragment the drive as well.

Secure and erase did help speed up the HDD a little bit. But crystal disk info says caution reallocated sector count. It is a yellow color instead of blue. Is my HDD dying? My SSD is only 120 GB it doesn't have a lot of space to transfer everything to the SSD.

Do you have a OC on your CPU or GPU?

Can you try down clocking the GPU?

I've seen this problem before, one time it was a PSU problem & the other time it was CPU issue...

However the stuttering only lasted for a few seconds in the beginning of the game. I'm not sure how bad your problem is.

Can you post a video?

I added a new Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB HDD but it is still doing the stuttering in the beginning of the game. Even installed on an SSD it is still doing it. The stuttering issue pretty much happens when doing a 360 turn after first time loading the game then it happens again when shooting an enemy for the first time then the game goes smoothly after a few more minutes of playing but there are still occasional stuttering like when entering into new areas and making a turn it will cause a stutter. It seems that you need a PCIE SSD with read and write speeds of like 2000 Mbps in order to run Crysis 3 without a single stutter during gameplay.

That's not true, it could be many things such as your cpu or gpu... I've seen this issue in with another rig...

But how though I have a pretty powerful CPU and I just upgraded to a R9 290 about a month ago and it is still happening. It might be the game engine because this doesn't happen in games like battlefield 3 and 4. Surprisingly Far Cry 3 doesn't have any stuttering at all and its an open world game. So far only Crysis 3, Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light have stuttering other than that pretty much all my other games run fine.

I played Crysis 3 without any issues and as you can see i have a better CPU than you do but i think your GPU is better, i believe 760 was slated above 960. I had some of those issues with stuttering on Ryse Son of Rome that is based on the same engine as Crysis 3. What helped me was turning off all that FXAAA or whatever it is called stuff and honestly i did not see a issues with quality of the game, graphically it looked identical but the issues disappeared.

Then it seems that I am unlucky then. Every time when I first launch Crysis 3 it makes a heavy stutter when doing a 360 turn but I did notice if I get to a check point that is in a closed area I don't get any stutter when launching the game again in that check point but if I were to be a a checkpoint in Welcome to The Jungle Area with a lot of stuff going on it will stutter madly in the beginning but then it will play smoothly shortly after thats until I enter a new area it will do the same then repeat.

This is not the engine, it's possible that there is something wrong with one of the components like I mentioned.

Crysis 3 is very heavy on the cpu, I've seen I5's fully utilized... I've seen the OP's issue on 2 systems and both had I5's.
I'm can't confirm it's an I5 issue however I7's are better for crysis 3 and Metro series games.

It can't be because I had this problem with my AMD A10 7700K with the Asrock motherboard as well as my old Core 2 Duo system. So no I don't think it is the problem when clearly other games run fine. But yes and i7 is better for Crysis 3 but buying an i7 just for games is such a waste.

Well that video showed that person started the game that was in a small area when you start the game in a really big area I can assure you it will stutter bad. If you notice watch how his GPU Usage from for 98% to 84% for a second that causes a stutter. That was what I am trying to explain this whole time.

Also watch how his gpu usage drops shortly after he gets to the grass area. You probably can't notice the stuttering in the video but those gpu usage drops do cause a spilt second stutter.
