GMod Port Forwarding help

I have attempted to port forward in Garry's Mod but I need some help. I have a Thomson TG585 V7 router and I'm not sure what to put at my IP on the port forwarding section of their website. I have put it down as 192.168.1.65 : 27015 but I understand that that's a lan one. Should I put in my public IP address because my dedicated server keeps connecting to the private one. Someone please help

Yeah, try your public ip. Port forwarding can be finicky at times. I had to screw around for a bit before I could get my server to work. Tell me if that works. I hope I helped! :)
