Plugging 4-pin water cooler pump/fans into 3-pin headers?

I installed a Cooler Master Nepton 140XL water cooler as well as an ASRock Z77 Extreme4 motherboard. The motherboard has 2 CPU-fan headers, but both of them are only 3 pin connections whereas the pump and two fans (the two fans connect into a single port) have a 4-pin connector.

I want to be able to control the fan speed of my fans/pump because it is stuck on maximum speed which is unbearable. I have three 4-pin chassis fan ports on the motherboard, but I want the fans to correspond with the CPU temperature. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Solution
The pump should always run at 100 % duty cycle, no matter what, so it can be put on any fan header, just make sure it is set to 100% in bios or other software. The header labeled cpu_fan is almost always a 4-pin header on newer mobo's to accommodate pwm fans and allow for dynamic control vrs analog voltage regulation.
