So a little bit of back-story, I've had this little laptop for a while, but I stopped using it when the screen broke. I recently got the urge to upgrade it's RAM and replace it's screen.

Now, I have my dad right next to me on the workbench. I take out the battery and hold the power button. I unscrew the RAM "door" and I see the ram. I slide the two metal prongs off to the side and the ram pops up. I then leave to go get some water. When I returned, my dad (I love him dearly) had pried it out with a screwdriver. I inspect with a magnifying glass to see if there was any visible damage. Nope, looked okay. And this is the moment when I realized that this laptop takes DDR2 instead of DDR3, so I sigh and slide it back in. I pop the "door" back on and slide the battery back in. I turn it on and... nothing.

The power light turns on. I hear the fan spinning and some other things working around in there. then... nothing. I tried connecting it to an external display... nothing. So how do I fix this?
