Hello everyone,

I am seriously having a tough time figuring out a good power supply upgrade for my PC. My hard drives keep failing.

Here is my config. please suggest a good power supply for it.

My budget is 50 USD

Samsung 850 Pro 256GB SSD

WDC Blue 500GB HDD

Seagate Barracuda 2000GB x 2 HDD

Saphire Radeon 6670 1GB DDR5

Intel Core2Quad Q8300 2.5Ghz 2.5Ghz

Intel DG41KR Motherboard

2GB x 2 RAM

Samsung Super WriteMaster (SATA) DVD Drive

LG SuperMulti (PATA) DVD Drive

It would be easier for me if you could pick one form this list. These are products that are easily available for me.

The Seasonic is a slightly better quality unit than the Evga, but both are good for your needs currently. That said, the Evga is a larger unit, so if you decided to upgrade your gpu to a r7 260x, 265 or a gtx 750ti, it would leave you sitting better. The gtx 750ti would be fine on the 400w Seasonic, but the AMD cards require just a little more power, which the Evga has.
