So i have a Acer Laptop sir and i just wanna ask a question and get some suggestions
Im running windows 8.1
i have i5-3210m 2.5ghz
4GB Ram
Geforce 630m 2GB

So i was wondering will it help my performance in games if i upgrade to 8GB ram?
And is it possible to upgrade with the laptop ram?
What suggestions can you give me to upgrade my RAM?

Is my video card bad? is it possible to change v.card on my laptop?
With a 8GB ram will i run modern games in medium settings?

Im a noob when it comes to gaming and display stuff for my laptop
I hope you guys help me
Thanks!

Solution
I think your laptop has two memory slots and will support 8 gb RAM.
Just to be sure, in the Speccy software, click on the RAM section and tell me what exactly you see in the Memory slots section. You can also post a screen shot of the RAM section.
Also, in the RAM section, click on the slot 1 section and see the exact RAM model you have. Try to buy the exact same model RAM. If you don't find the exact one, you can buy a different brand, but make sure it has the exact same specification.

Give the exact model of your laptop.
Check to see if you have any free memory slots in your laptop by using any free tool (like Speccy). If it has, it can be upgraded to 8 gb. Other wise, you can replace your existing memory with 2 new 4 gb ones.
However, changing RAMs will have marginal effect on games. The 630m is an entry level graphics card and quite old, that should run old and less demanding games well, but most of the new ones (like Assassin's Creed Unity) are obscenely demanding and won't run on your laptop.
Also, you cannot change the 630m of your laptop.
