I don't know if I can find some setting on either my sound card, or if there is something I have to download for my headset, but I cannot stand the deep bass from it. I have a Logitech G230 gaming headset, and I can't even find what kind of sound card I have (when I check Device Manager I check under Sound, video, and game controllers and I get the following:

C-media USB Audio Device
High Definition Audio Device
NVIDIA High Definition Audio
NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM)

Anything any one can help? I've checked all over the Playback Devices and Sound Volumes Menus but can't find a thing.

Your USB headset does not use your onboard sound card at all. It is a completely separate audio device, with own "soundcard" so to speak (C-Media USB Audio device). As long as you are using USB headset, the only thing you can do is use the manufacturer provided drivers for your headset and see whether or not they have provided an equaliser in software.

Ok so let's say I plug them into the Audio jacks in the back. What can I do there?

Can you please direct me to that? I see no Realtek anywhere. Is that accessible on Windows or do I need to access the boot-up menu?

You need to tell you exact motherboard model, so I can find the exact sound card type and drivers which probably need to be installed as well (you are likely using windows drivers for your soundcard, which work but don't provide an equaliser).

99% sure it is an ASRock H61M-DGS. I tried looking it up on System Inf, but it says "To be filled by O.E.M."
