Hi recently im having problems with my cable internet . the problem is that internet stops working randomly for 30 secs aprox and then continues to work properly ( packet loss ) ive contacted my ISP but the problem is still there been 10 days. When it works fine im getting 20-30 ping which is perfect until the packet loss series start

Problem is when im playing games online i get disconnect and it takes time to get back to game but it is pointless since 1 disconnect is enough to loose the game.

However i have another internet connection that i can use by tethering with my mobile phone. i have arround 100 ping when im using phone connection

My question is can i play online with my primary cable connection and once when i get packet loss ( that last for 30 sec) that the other connection ( phone ) kicks in so i can continue to play without getting disconnected ? Thx

Absolutely not. No way. Not possible.

As far as you internet dropping you need to have a tech out to look at your wiring and their local node. If you can get into your modem web interface you can look at your SNR (signal to noise) ratio. Also if possible disconnecting extraneous connections on your line into the house may help
Not really. A router with a load balancer or fail over function generally connects to two networks and hands over stateless sessions, like normal Website-Browsing. That doesn't work with online games, because the session is at least tide to the ip address, if not https encrypted.
