Just got a Z97 GD65 and i5 4690K yesterday. Went into the bios a couple of times. Checked both bios's worked, they did. Went in this morning with the intent to install windows and bios A gives post code A2 and the screen says "Boot guard verification dxe is fail" and shuts off.

Bios B works after 4 mins of north ( or south i forgot ) bridge initialising.

I have tried unplugging everything but 4GB ram keyboard mouse cpu psu, but still nothing.

I updated bios B with m flash via usb and it updated hoping it would update both and fix the issue but nothing changed (apart from bios b getting an update)

So basically is bios A bricked? And why! Also how do / can i fix it?

Also why does bios b take so long to boot into the bios? It gives code 71 on the board

Thanks told by a friend Toms Hardware forum is heelpful :)

U Have 2 Bios on ur Motherboard(Multi Bios) Just download MSI latest Bios For ur Mobo. Then Flash 2 Times by Switching bios. When ur 2 bios is Got Same Version of bios. It Will Work. 100%.

This problem happened when u Update 1 bios to latest and another Not.
U need to Update 2 Bios As Same Version
