I just got another extra XFX 7950 and Im planning to do a Crossfire. I have a 700W Silent Coolermaster (Bronce) PSU and I dont know if it will be enough.

My PC specs are:
i5 3570k (overclocked to 4.2 using 1.21 voltage)
2 XFX ATI 7950
2 SSD
1 HDD
1 DVD
1 Coolermaster V8 GTS
5 Fans on a Coolermaster HAF Case

According to some calculators my pc will consume around 480w and the recommended wattage should be 530w. I dont want my PSU to be stressed. 480w out of 700w is about 70% of capacity.

Do you think I will be OK with my current 700w? will my PSU generate more heat and possibly damage my other components? what are your thoughts? Thanks!

A system wiht two HD7950 in CF comes with a recommendation of 700W, so you should be good to go!

CF/SLI is a great way to give your system new life if you can get that 2nd card for a good price. It will of course add more heat to your system, but that heat will not damage other components. Just make sure you have decent airflow in your case. Worse case scenario is parts throttle themselves down when they get too hot.

Thanks for your answer! I forgot to mention that other stuff that would consume some energy (like the V8). Also my CPU is OC.

My PSU is this one:
http://us.coolermaster.com/product/Detail/powersupply/silent-pro-m/silent-pro-m700.html

Acording to realhardtechx its max load (+12V) is 600W. Im particulary affraid of my cooler, since that V8 GTS consumes about 60w.
This is the most accurate calculation I made reaching a 538w minimun psu wattage: http://postimg.org/image/8vchjqyh7/

I also found that on gaming conditions the crossfire could consume about 500w.

I know my PSU will be able to "handle" this, but my main concern is safety/stability/durability.
Thanks again for your answer!
