I need advice from friendly people of tomshardware. I'm pretty clueless on HW and gathering technical info that i can't comprehend is not helping me make a decision.
here's the build below budget.

i would prefer to save some for a sound build but don't mind to max the budget so here's the one a little above budget

i do hope to get a build that can last 2-3years. I don't game extensively, probably one or two core games now and then without the settings being set to high. play MMOs like rift/archeage (skyrim is a desire but not with importance)
I use photoshop and illustrator cs5 currently.
i tend to have many tabs open on my browser and idm running.
using a monitor, expecting to purchase the cintiq or an additional monitor in a year time.
given the lower cost build, i will probably be more willing to expect an upgrade earlier.
less willing for the off budget build.
but i have people telling me i7 is an overkill for at least 2015 games and that i don't need it for photoshop as much as said to be.
should i get the 770 or wait for 960? comments were if i get 960, i'll be cursing within the year.. not sure if it is that bad though..
