Hi,so I recently built my first pc but I'm having a LOT of issues running Minecraft. All other games are playing very smooth with solid fps but then Minecraft comes along and sometimes it will randomly say that my fps is as high as 1300 depending on the day, but even then the game is really stuttery and just..not smooth at all. More recently my fps is going down as low as 15 with min settings and it stutters a lot. I have got all the latest drivers, I have tried reinstalling the game, reinstalling the drivers etc. My GPU temp is only 32 degrees C and at maximum temp I get 34 degrees C when playing Minecraft which leads me to believe that my 760 isn't even being used by minecraft but perhaps minecraft is using the onboard graphics..I have installed Java but I don't know if it's installed correctly/doing anything. Um, any ideas? Any way to check that minecraft is using onboard graphics instead of the 760? But I don't think it is because when I play minecraft and click F3 it shows me my graphics card on the right...

A few things to improve performance in minecraft.

1) Install 64 Bit Java, not 32bit (3rd one under Windows) > Download
2) Allocate enough memory to the game, I have 8gb so I usually do 4gb > Tutorial

Also keep in mind that Minecraft relies heavily on CPU not GPU, which is why your graphics card Isn't being utilized at all. a 4670k should be enough to handle it just fine though.
