Hello all,
I want to upgrade the CPU of my Client PC.
Currently I have:
AMD Athlon X2 4400+ @2.2Ghz (Socket is AM2)
5.5GB DDR2
400GB SataII
Gigabit Ethernet
Nvidia GT 430
Windows 8.1 Pro
I was thinking about upgrading the CPU to either an Athlon X2 6000+ (Dual core) @3.1Ghz or a Phenom X3 @2.4Ghz (Triple Core).
I can't decide which one would be better for decoding (hardware or software) x264 video.
