Hello, im having a little trouble locally selling my rig to help fund a new build. I havent sold a PC before, so im not sure if its better to sell as a package or separate. and if separate where the best place to sell? Below is what i have;

Jan-2014 Build

CPU-Intel i7-4770K
CPU Cooler-Corsair H100i
Motherboard- Asus Maximus Hero VI
Memory- Mushkin Blackline 4X4GB
Storage 1- Samsung 840 Pro Series 256GB
Storage 2- Western Digital 1TB 3.5
Video Card- EVGA Geforce GTX 780 3GB Superclocked ACX
Case- Rosewill Thor V2
Power Supply- Corsair TX850
Optical Drive- Asus
OS- Windows 8.1
Sound Card- Creative Labs Recon3D

So the two big questions are (1) What would you guys ask for the package All together, and (2) If sold separate where's good place(s) to sell them.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Personally I don't like craigslist but it is a place for you to sell, also eBay is excellent too.

I'd sell that build all together at about $800 - $1000, but honestly you probably wouldn't be able to sell it for that much because ppl wouldn't buy a used PC for that much even if the parts are grand. You really need to consider parting your PC out. that way you should get more money then selling it whole.

And as Maxor1 said, why the hell are you trying to sell that PC for something "Better"!? You shouldn't have ANY issues with this PC in modern games....?

I thid the idea that selling this system is a horrible idea unless you hate money. You'll take a 30% or more loss on what is a new computer and then spend the money again on something that may be 5-10% faster which you won't even notice unless you run a benchmark.

Thanks for reply guys. I was planning to do somthing completely different, and try get the money out of it now cause in a year or two I'm sure there will be next to no value. Appreciate the input and I know what I am going to do now, you guys have solidified it for me.

Honestly I strongly disagree about the future loss of value about a third of the value is lost once it becomes used. Another third is lost over the first 18 months of age. After that the remaining third tends to be steady and increase with inflation and rarity of the parts.
