I'm planning on going from a regular ATX motherboear to a mini-itx and I am looking at the corsair 250d, I currently have a 4690k with a H80i and was wondering how I would mount the radiator and fans to the case. I'm asking this because from most of the pictures I've seen the H100i just about fits and that's a 240mm fan and being a 120mm radiator with fans on both sides of it over the motherboard. Anyone with any experience with the case can help?

I would actually recommend the 450d if your really aiming for a dual fan on the H80i, the case is about 35% larger in squared real estate. In reality though, unless your doing some heavy OC, the 5*c offered by a push/pull config on that rad with premium fans is not really worth the extra size and noise generated for your situation.

I looked at this pic:
http://www.corsair.com/~/media/Corsair/Product-Photo-Root/cases/obsidian-series/250d/large/250D_Close_up_hydro_series_install.png

And the h100 has just 1 layer of fans on the inside and its fits perfect. For doing an H80i with 2 layers of fans (push & pull) will def not fit in the case. you could mount 1 fan outside of the case..
I don't know what the performance of he h80i would be like with just 1 fan on it,. but if you are set on that case,a longer radiator with 1 layer fans looks like the best option.

I already have the H80i I am just decreasing my case size so I'd need a new mobo and case and was wondering if the cooler could fit, what about if the cd drive was taken out?
