Hi guys i just order my gtx 970 g1 from gigabyte and i want to ask u guys is antec earthwatts ea-500w 80 PLUS enough at that moment for my rig till i upgrade it in a few next months to seasonic 620w

my rig is
mobo: P75M-D3H
cpu: core i5 3450
GPU: gtx 970 g1
Ram: 8gb ram 1600 hyberx
HDD: 640 gb
cpu cooler : Gelid x7

Enough *at the moment*: yes. Nvidia recommends minimum 500W for the 900 series GPUs; if you plan to OC that card in the future, you will probably need more.

It's enough, but it lacks the 8pin plug I think that card needs. Considering it's age and what you can get for ~$50, I'd look into replacing it.

Hi, our EA-500 Green has a 4+4 (=8)-pin CPU connector and is ok for that system.

I said 8pin that the card needs, not the CPU. I know it has a 4+4. I had both versions of that PSU. (seasonic and Delta sourced.)
