Hi, recently I was playing games at my friends house and everything was working just fine. Just like it had worked just fine for two years. But then, the day after when I was hitting the power button, nothing happened. Literally nothing happens when i press the power button, it's like it doesn't have any power. So naturally, I thought it was a bad PSU, and then changed it. No difference. Im now thinking of buying a new mobo which will also force me to buy a new CPU, and this is suddenly getting a bit too expensive, so I would really appreciate if anyone knew how to fix this other than replacing the mobo, if it is possible to fix my current motherboard, if that is even the problem.

I know that was a very long sentence with a lot of ifs, but I'm so lost!!

I have also tried changing the CMOS battery and the power cable

My specs are

CM Storm Trooper
Gigabyte z77x-ud5h
Gigabyte hd7950
Corsair 650w PSU (old) ---> Corsair RM850 (current)
4x2GB Corsair XMS3 RAM
1 SSD and 1 HDD

Thanks in advance, greatly appreciated

Well, the computer wasn't moved between the night I was playing and the morning it didn't work. Only thing I did was to turn it off and remove the power cord..
