I think my A10-6800k is bottle necking my r9 270x in Battlefield 4

I recently installed a new r9 270x into my computer along with my A10-6800k. I went to go play some bf4 and I was only getting an average of 35 fps on Ultra, high, medium and low on 720p. No matter what setting I was on I was getting around the same fps. I would be running around at a average of 35 fps then it would drop drastically in frames for a second then climb back up to around 35 fps. I assume it's my cpu bottle necking the gpu. I have made sure all my drivers are up to date. If it is my cpu would the i5 3570k be a good replacement

Solution
Yes the CPU is bottlenecking and yes the i5 3570K would be a good replacement and a good upgrade. If you have a good cooler you could try overclocking your 6800K to see if performance increases enough for you. But you may just need to get something better than the 270X though. From Techspot's Benchmark of the Battlefield 4 a 270X with an i7 will only average ~42 FPS at Ultra settings at 1680 x 1050. You would get less performance in 1080p and multiplayer gameplay would also get less FPS. So a i5 3570K will be a good CPU upgrade in general but you will need a better GPU to see a big enough boost. Who knows maybe updates in drivers and game has made the performance of the 270X better than when the benchmark was done.

It shouldn't be your cpu unless you're overheating or something. Just watched a vid comparing that same exact setup, the a10-6800k paired with r9 270x all at stock speeds getting 80-100fps with auto (high) settings on bf4 with both direct x 11 and mantle. Are you playing offline or online? Even online the vid I watched on a server was only dipping to around 40 and often running much higher in the 60's and 70's.
