Hey all, on Saturday I bought a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO for my new FX-8320 which I had been using since Tuesday. I got home and installed it, and unfortunately dropped the screwdriver I was using onto the motherboard once. I plugged in my computer, and it turned on for 3-4 seconds then turned off. I pressed the power button again, and the computer turned on for half a second, then turned back off (Power LED and graphics card light briefly turned on). I opened my computer back up and removed the cooler and made sure that the CPU was seated properly, which it was, but a small amount of thermal paste got on to some of the pins. I used a toothbrush to softly remove the paste, then reseated it. I reinstalled the cooler, including setting up the fan, then I made sure that the back plate of the cooler was set up properly and wasn't touching the case and the insulated tape was on the right side. I set the computer back up again, but the same thing was happening. What lead me to believe that it was the motherboard was the fact that when the CPU was out, the same thing happened as when it was in. I made sure all the RAM was seated properly also, so I ruled that out. Something else that I found out was that my BIOS shouldn't support the processor, but I had been using it for a while, and I didn't think that installing a new cooler should change that. Also, one other thing possibly related was the night before I got the cooler, I was playing WoW when visual artefacts appeared on my monitor, then my PC rebooted. When it turned back on, the resolution was set to 640x800, and my graphics driver was uninstalled. Any help would be really appreciated.

Sorry, forgot to mention I tried the original stock heatsink again and it still didn't work, so I doubt messing with the new one will make a diference.
