Hey guys,

I am trying to "pretty" up my system and provide better airflow by cleaning up the cables. I have (2) Gigabyte GTX 970's running in SLI. Both cards take (1) 8-pin & (1) 6-pin input from the PSU. I ordered these.

The 6+2 fits perfectly, but the 8-pin does not fit at all. The notches aren't correct to fit the input cable from the PSU or the input on the GPU 8-pin its self. These were sold to me as 8-pin PCI-E extensions and represent exactly what is pictured on the Amazon order page. I am doing something wrong, or do I actually have an 8-pin EPS extension?

Also, would there be an issue if I modified both ends and got them secured? Any help would be appreciated.
