I have just replaced my motherboard, CPU, and GPU, and just now windows asked me to activate my copy of Windows 8 even though it was already activated beforehand (I've been slowly fleshing out a crappy store bought PC). Also, a litte "Windows 8.1, Build 9600" is in the corner as if I have booted into safe mode. Is there an easy solution that doesn't involve purchasing a new OS, or is this a problem at all?
EDIT: Nevermind, followed the instructions it gave me and with a call with an automated representative, it was activated again.
