was it video card issue or power block issue?

Hey guys! I have AsRock 960GM-VGS3 FX motherboard, AMD FX 6300 3.50 CPU, GTX650 Graphic Card and 450W power block. Other day fuse of my block burned out, okay I have changed it but very soon my Graphic card is gone dead. What was the problem? Should I have to upgrade my power block or this Nvidia card did not go with my CPU? I turned on my PC perfectly, using onboard video card which is Radeon 3000. Any idea to prevent this will happen again? Shall I install Radeon 6850?

It doesn't matter what GPU or CPU you have, it's going to work no matter what.
So are you saying that the GTX 650 was fried? And what kind of Power Supply do you have?

Maybe the Power Supply died and killed the GPU, or just a coincidence that they both happened to die. As said above, what power supply do you have? If it's a no-name brand cheap PSU, that might be the answer to this problem.

Thank you for your response, I also think it was because of cheap PSU, although 450W. It is a friend of mine who lives in Korea, he said could not find a box, because a pc shop seller built everything for him. So do you think cooler master g450 will work fine on this? or do we have to go higher power supply?
Which an affordable power supply brand would you suggest? any idea?

That motherboard has onboard AMD, so don't you think additional card must be AMD too? My initial thought was AMD CPU and NVIDIA GPU

Whether it's AMD CPU + NVIDIA GPU, AMD CPU + AMD GPU, it works either way and has no compatibility issues. As for the power supply, 450w should be enough for a GTX 650 gpu or equivalent and that particular PSU has 420w on the 12v rail which is good enough.
