My 3tb Hdd become 2tb

I recently buy a 3tb but it only show a 2tb space. one tb is not found. How do i solve this?
i am using asus maximus 7 ranger

you need to install your system with UEFI mode !!


Before you install your system, please press F11 during boot up, then select your ODD with OS DVD in or USB OS drive with UEFI mode! you will have to install only 64bit but you will have fully 3TB then.
