Problem with network connection windows 7 / asus motherboard

hello experts, i just bought a motherboard Asus P5G41C-M LX , prev i had asus p5kpl-cm , i installed the motherboard and now windows 7 shows no network connections , red x on network . i installed all drivers from manufacture's website , i updated my bios too . device manager checked and uninstalled drivers from device manager and reinstalled it . rebooted . but still no progress . Shows code 10 in properties

i can see LAN port light flashing orange and green blinking . but i don't understand what to do

Sounds like you've done a pretty thorough diagnostic and repair process. I'm assuming that you've tried unplugging and replugging the cable, and tried a different cable? If so, you probably have a faulty adapter.

You can just RMA it, or if you want to be really sure, you can get a cheap ethernet PCI card, like below, and try that. If it works, you can be pretty confident that the board component is bad. With a new board, I think I'd just RMA it.
