Ok, that's a bad one and reinforces my previous thoughts - this error is basically telling you Windows doesn't know why it failed - It is caused by things like power failures, holding the power button down to shut off the computer, overheating (when the CPU/GPU shuts itself down), BSOD's and other errors. Basically this error means Windows couldn't track the event because it was sudden.

Seriously, are you sure you put TIM paste on the CPU when you installed the EVO 212? WIth that cooler installed right, you shouldn't...

Mine was doing this when I had my memory set to 1866 after I set it back down to 1600 it's never happened again. So my guess would be there's a problem memory wise or something like your cpu may be overheating and shutting down to prevent damage. Is there no way for you to check your temps from windows? If not there is a program called speed fan that will help you to check your temps. http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php and a program called memtest to test your memory http://www.memtest86.com/index.html

Do you have a case speaker installed on the MOBO Speaker Header? The Mobo may be sending you a message but you're not hearing it.

I take it you have updated your MOBO BIOS to the latest? if not, do so ASAP.
And you'd have the latest Chipset Drivers, Audio and GFX drivers as well?

If you are Over Clocking, dial it down a bit and see if that helps - can be hard to find stability on some systems, and if the ambient temp changes dramatically, a stable OC can become unstable very easily.

Have you checked all your temps - especially on the CPU and GFZ to ensure the fans are operating. Did you apply Thermal paste to the EVO 212 Cooler (I know, of course you did, but better to check - wouldn't be the first time someone forgot it :) )

Turn off all Green and Power Management features in the BIOS and in Windows and have it set to always on - see if this helps keep it alive.

It almost sounds like the Mobo takes it to protected mode - do you have software to measure the rail power? maybe there's an over/under voltage issue with the PSU - the 600B isn't a fantastic PSU unfortunately, but has the wattage to run your system no worries.

Check windows Event Viewer and see if there's a clue in there (Be logged in as administrator though) - if Windows is putting it to sleep then there will be a log and a reason. If it's the Mobo, Windows may not get a chance to log it - it will only mention that something happened and it was restarted.

Again - install a case speaker always....unless the Mobo has another method of error reporting (like Q-LED indicators on a lot of boards)...otherwise you will never know if the Mobo is spazzing out on you. (Why they don't supply the speaker with most MOBO's I don't understand) you'll get a draw full of SLI/Crossfire connectors that you'll never use, but never a 10 cent Pizzeo speaker these days!

Is it powering off suddenly or just stuck in black screen?
If it's power down it.could be automatically shuting down of pc because it doesn't receive 11.3 v minimum voltage from psus 12v output
But if it stucks it could be driver problem or failure in vga card,

I've ran some tests on both my cpu and my gpu and on the gpu it gets to around 80 celsius, Also this might be important but when I log my temps while gaming for my gpu, it shutdown at 80 degrees, but it stays around that temperture for several minutes. I don't know any programs to log cpu temps so I just have real temp and I can tell you the idle temperture is around 34 to 40 degrees. I'm not sure what the temps get to during a burn test

I can audibly hear all the fans stop in the case and then I can hear the psu fire up and it just goes to standby and won't come out unless I do a hard shutdown.

Seriously, are you sure you put TIM paste on the CPU when you installed the EVO 212? WIth that cooler installed right, you shouldn't have heat issues on the CPU The GPU fans will take care of the GPU (unless they're not working). You didn't mess the paste up when mounting the EVO and you definitely got it tapped down flush and snug? Those EVO's can be a real pain in the a$$ to install and have been responsible for many, many issues with over heating.

With that MOBO and no speaker, you will get no warning if the CPU starts to cook - it'll just go into protection mode and shut down and silently beep its error code at you. You mention you have to hard shut down; the MOBO is beeping its error codes at you and you just cant hear them (This it why you have to Hard Restart, as the MOBO cannot send you an error message if it's completely off)

Real Temp will do - 80degC on the GFX is too high though - are the GFX fans going 100%?
