Adding routers? Potentially more wifi access in different parts of the house.
The same as you might get with adding less expensive Access points.

What seems to be the issue, and what are you trying to do?

you can use this wireless network on any device that has wifi like phones, tablets, laptops and computers. you have to set up this router and name your wifi. you can add a password to the wifi so that other people cant connect to it. after the wifi is set up, go to the device in which you want internet, open up settings (if a phone or tablet) then select the wifi you have created, enter the password and you are connected. in pcs or laptops press the little monitor icon on the lower right corner of your screen and select the wifi you have created. enter the password and click ok. you are connected. NOTE: To have connection you must have a working ethernet cable attached to your router. routers have a limited range. if you go beyond that range, youll not be able to see your wifi network. For instructions on how to setup your router, refer to the user manual/ instructions included in the box of your router.
good luck and many thanks,

Downside to adding routers; Introducing congestion on a particular bandwidth/channel when you factor in each routers channels and not to mention the hassle of setting up and maintaining each router.

Upside; USAFret stated it. Though getting back to his question would be a better idea :)
