Need help with overclocking AMD HD7850 DC2 2GD5 V2

Im using a dual monitor setup, and was wondering if its safe to overclock the gpu clock by like 50mhz, and the memory clock by the same amount, or if thats too little, what would be an amount considered safe for sure? thanks

No overclocks are guaranteed, but the 7850 in general is one of the best overclocking cards that has ever existed.

I personally have clocked an Asus DCII 7850 to a stable 1200mhz @1.21v from the stock 860mhz (stable = 10 hour Uniengine heaven loop), on the stock Asus cooler! I usually don't bother overclocking the memory; there's not as much performance return on it.
