I have a ASUS P8H67-M PRO mobo and it has a 8 pin connection however I plugged in my 4pin and it worked. Then I flashed the bios now the pc wont start.. It would start for around 2 seconds then shutoff and then repeat. I think its because of the lack of the other 4pin.. Is there a way to revert back to the old bios I had before so that I can continue using my psu until my new one comes?

Solution
It may be that the boot order or something is not correct. try the old CMOS battery reset.
There is CMOS Jumper :
a) Power off. Unplug.
b) Move the jumper cap from pins 1-2 ( default ) to pins 2-3. Keep the cap on pins 2-3 for about 5-10 seconds, then move the cap back to pins 1-2.
c) re-connect 'er to the PSU.
d) Power up and enter UEFI via Del or F2 , or F7. Enter the Values in the UEFI BIOS under Boot or Boot Priority
