Big issue with my custom loop

Guys I have a pretty big issue with my liquid cooling,

Today I was cleaning my PC and doing general maintenance, after I had finished, I put my computer on and it seemed to be running really hot. So I checked CoreTemp and all my CPU cores were at 99 c.

Obviously I turned my PC straight off, to check the pump, all seemed fine so I tried turning my PC on again and the same thing happened.

I decided to take the side off and check the connections and I noticed this:

I assume both those wires should be connected to the molex? Is there a way to fix this? Can that wire be connected back to the jack?

Any help would be really appreciated!

Thanks

The lock "fins" that you are looking at may have been bent in, you can bend them out to about 1/16 of an inch maybe a little more and push the pin back into the connector. this should allow it to lock back in. There should be 3 of them evenly spaced around the out side of the metal connector.
your pic quality leaves a lot to be desired for us to know what is going on. Please help us by answering a few questions because the pic is not to good.

Is the wire burnt?
Did it just pop out? it should be silver in color.

If it did not burn and is still silver it can be pushed back in. there are tabs, can't remember if 3 or 4 for the molex that lock it in. they should protrude in at an backward and upwards angle.

It is a simple molex connector. You are fine. Just pop it back in to the end hole with the fins on the side of the pin (really small to see) facing horizontally (the long ways) down the molex connector. If it does not click in, try flipping the pin 180 degrees and try again. You should not be able to just pull it out. If you can, I would recommend taking a molex connector from another piece of hardware to replace it (which I can explain if needed).

Sorry for the bad pic guys, I had to use my phone! No the end is not burnt and still silver, I've tried pushing it back in with no luck, although I can see the 2 fins on either side of the pin, I guess i'll just keep trying to push it back in! Thanks for your input guys!

Absolutely right. I have never seen 3 connectors though on a molex. Always 2 with guiding pins on one edge. I am not expert though. Just done a few DIY projects.
