An FX-8350 (better for Battlefield and Tomb Raid and such). Get an ASUS M5a97 pro r2.0 or the 990fx version. The i3 is better for CSGO and Minecraft but the 8350 can handle those just fine.
However the i3 does give you the option of an i5 later down the road so keep that in mind. If you want to have an upgrade path, the i3 is good. Both of these CPU's will be fine. The 8350 is just slightly more flexible and that is why I prefer it as most games use quad cores.
You can see how they stack up here http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i3-4360-vs-AMD-FX-8350

thanks one last question about the i3 what do you mean by upgrade?
The 8350 is the top of its line and the i3 runs on z97 and h97 boards. This means you could get an i5 or i7 later down the road. You could also get a new intel broad-well CPU when those launch. If thta is something that interests you, then go for the i3.
