Hello I will make this short... I record videos for all types of games on PC and can always record at 1080p 30fps with dxtory and maintain a frame-rate above 60. Now here comes minecraft oh so special isn't it? In vanilla I can average 200 - 400 fps, with shaders and a hd texture pack my fps never dips below 120. But weather It be vanilla or modded minecraft the second I hit record my fps tanks and never goes above 25. This doesn't happen on any other games and it happens when recording with any other screen recorder just not as much sometimes.

PC specs
Intel i7 2600k stock speed
Nvidia GTX 760
16gb ddr3 ram
SSD boot drive
1tb game drive
1tb wd black dedicated video drive

Your best hope is for someone who records Minecraft to let you know how they go about it, but I can tell you that Minecraft is one of the worst coded pieces of shit out there, it is horrible. Notch never should have gotten a coding award, he is truly a horrible horrible programer.

It might be the application you're recording with. Try using a few different screen recorders such as bandicam or fraps. Fraps are mostly used by those Minecraft youtubers that record their Minecraft.

As I stated. "This doesn't happen on any other games and it happens when recording with any other screen recorder just not as much sometimes."

Well on those other games you say might not be as laggy as minecraft mostly is so maybe if you tweak the settings (mostly its graphics settings to fast and lower render distance) it could help reduce the lag it has. I've done it before and yes it has worked when I fixed up my settings. Also if you don't have optifine, get it. The frame rate in minecraft significantly drops when recording so make sure you have optimized settings. Sorry if this isn't working, I'm trying to at least help a bit.
