If this server is important to your company then I think you need to call in a consultant who is familiar with Windows server. It will be money well spent. You might also want to consider a service plan if you have no in-house staff who can troubleshoot such problems.

A BSOD in a server is bad news. Do you run any kind of a concurrent data backup (Syncback, BackupExec, Cloud Drive, Carbonite)? Do you run to an external HDD or a NAS? It's possible you have a bad component somewhere in it. Usually any kind of a RAID failure will give you an error code, or it won't boot to the OS. Does it go into the BIOS before crashing? Is it overheating? I know from experience servers rarely overheat unless a fan or two fails, but usually you'd get a warning from that. It could be an internal component that's not monitored by the system. I think your best bet is to see if there are any kind of error codes. Servers will give you error codes on a LCD or LED panel on the front. Check that if you're getting one and go from there. If there's no error code, revert back to a backup or image (if you've got one).

Hmmm. Well, If your BIOS is saying "failed to boot, insert CDDVD", and you've tried to boot from the disk, it means it can't find the OS to boot from. It could mean a .dll file or the bootmgr/bootldr file is corrupted or missing. In my experience, that's a dead giveaway of a failed RAID array. A server won't get past BIOS if the array has failed, meaning two of the disks (if 3-drive RAID 5) or one disk (RAID 0/1) have failed. It's possible it's something else, but in my experience, servers worth their salt give you a warning that hardware is failing. If you can't even get to the F8 menu before it crashes, it could be something internal.
