I need a reasonably cheap (Up to €700) laptop capable of running AutoCAD and Solidworks to a decent degree which will hopefully last me my 5 year course. Any suggestions?

I often have to run a professional CAD program on an i3-3220 4 GB no GPU system. There are times when it's slow, most definitely, but I (or rather my company!) would argue it's sufficient.

A powerful GPU uses a lot of battery, and costs much more. Especially if you need a Quaddro, which is what most CAD programs need for GPU acceleration.
