Hi Folks,

I use CCleaner and Glary Utilities to clean my Windows 7 PC about once a week.

I have recently noticed that when I think certain of the Temp files are 'cleaned' they seem to reappear virtually immediately. The normally amount to about 270mb - so not insignificant.

The specific area is: C;\Windows\Installer\$PatchCache$\Managed\ etc., etc..

Can anyone tell me if this is normal?

Thank you.

Ian

Solution
Many applications have temp files for a reason - they use them. If you delete them, they may recreate them, using up the CPU/network resources they tried to save in the first place.
