Better SSD for a laptop? A normal sized SSD or an mSata?

Here are the 2 choices:
1) 256GB SAMSUNG M.2 SSD @ $163.96 US dollars
2) 250GB Samsung 850 Evo SSD @ $131.17 US dollars

What's better, in terms of performance and longevity and of course price per GB

If you do have both types available, get the M.2.

It will leave the 2.5" slot available for another drive if you ever need more space.
