RAM for Asus Maximus VII Ranger? 2400MHz

Can I use 2400MHz ram sticks in dual channel on this board or is it something I need to do? I have heard something about OCing the cpu for it to work, but I am building a new pc so i cant OC with any other ram. I'm going with 4790k (Or 5770k if it comes out before May)

And what is better HyperX Beast 16gb 2400mhz or HyperX Savage 16gb 2400mhz?

Yes you can run them at 2400Mhz. If they are rated at 2400Mhz you should not require to do any tweaking. As for RAM go for whichever is cheaper and save a few bucks.
