I was wondering if the New GeForce GTX650 Durable New CPU NVIDIA 2GB 384Bit DDR3 PCI-E Graphics Card is compatable with the MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming motherboard

when Insert the video card in the computer and power on the computer it powers up but nothing shows on the screen i was wondering what could be the problem

Hello... What Video hardware were you using before?
1) Make sure you set the BIO's for PCIe Video.
2) Make sure you are plugged into the Video card and your monitor is set for that type of cable used.
3) Load the Windows driver before you install the new video card.

Is the monitor plugged into the GPU or the motherboard? Do you get video output if you take the GPU out and use one of the video outputs on the motherboard? What are the rest of the system specs? There is a link to a troubleshooting checklist in my signature that was created for this type of problem.

Hello... The first thing at this point is to ASK... WAS Everything working, MB, Video, hardrives, OS... before you plugged the GTX650 into your MB? I'm not clear here as to where we need to START when helpping you with your Computer problems.
Can you post the website of your NEW Video card?
what OS are you using?
32bit/64bit?
Windows version?

Do you mean the system works fine when using the motherboard video outputs?

What we are all asking for is more information. We have yet to receive answers to some important troubleshooting questions like.

Is the BIOS set to use the PCI-E GPU instead of the integrated GPU?
Is the monitor plugged into the GPU and not the motherboard?
Is the 6-pin PCI-E power connector plugged into the GPU?
Is the GPU fully seated?
What are the complete system specs?

Hello... 1) Load the Video card Driver first into your Windows OS system.
2) Set your BIOs as suggested above... "Save and Exit"
3) Shut off Computer and Install your NEW Video card... and Power Cable to it?
4) Connect to your Monitor cable to your Video card.
5) Re-start Computer...
Do you see a BIO's screen?
Do you see the Windows boot screen?
Do you see a windows Desktop?

You bought a "Non-name brand" Video Card... B ( Hope we can get it to work for you...
