Hello. I am wanting to build the most ultimate overkill gaming/ video editing/ photo editing/ music creation/ gaming server/ virtualization/ game creation rig that I can think with custom water cooling and wondering what case to get. My specs are:

  • Intel Core i7-5960X
Asus Rampage V Extreme with the OC Panel
    Asus ROG Front Base
    Corsair Dominator Patinum 64GB (8x8GB) DDR4-2666 RAM
10 Coirsair Force LX 512gb ssds
    6tb 7200rpm Seagate hard drive
    Samsung XP941 m.2-2280 512gb ssd
4 Asus Geforce GTX 980 Tis( or Titan 2/x, whichever name they use) with 8gb gddr5 vram each (when available)
EVGA SuperNOVA P2 1600W 80+ Platinum certified PSU
Microsoft Windows 8.1 Professional 64 bit
    3 Asus XB280HK 60hz 28" 4k monitors
Razer KRAKEN 7.1 CHROMA 7.1 Channel Headset
Razer BlackWidow Chroma Wired Gaming Keyboard
Razer Naga Epic Chroma Wireless Laser Mouse
    Logitech Z906 500W 5.1ch Speakers
    Corsair Red LED AF Fans
and a Custom Water Cooling loop

Please do NOT tell me this is to much because i want to have a balls to the wall ultimate overclocked rig. I am wanting a Corsair 900D, but I am not sure. I need at least 5 5.25" external drive bays for all components. I will us a USB Blu ray drive because I do not need the drive all the time. I also want it to be able to run case lights and have plenty of fan support so it will be able to achieve high overclocking potential (4.5 to 5.0 ghz cpu, 2.0 ghz gpu at most, 3000 mhz ram, 8000 mhz vram, if possible )

I will also update the specs to newer products as they come out until i have the money to build this system (but only the best from intel, nvidia, asus, corsair, samsung, razer, ekwb, and logitech cpus, gpus, mobos, ram, fans, storage, accessories, water cooling, and speakers. I will ditch the logitech speakers if the razer soundbars ar any good, though. Thanks for your help in advance, and make sure you give me good case recommendations from any reputable case manufacturer.

Solution
Hands down the 900D, it was designed specifically for builders like you.

BTW... Expect okish performance on three 4k monitors with only 4 gtx 980s. (Seriously, i'm not joking.)

If you want the best of the best, then go for dual zeon E5s then.

Not quite. It has dual compartments, but there is a lot more to it than that and the 900d generally delivers poorly on airflow in the top chamber (from what users have said) and has some quality control issues. However I am a fan of dual chamber designs. When it comes overall capabilities and features, the Enthoo Primo wins.

The 900D is good, but if I were him, I would look at other options.

If you put this kind of hardware in a case there is ONLY 1 manufacturer.......And that is Caselabs.
There is NO better case then a Caselabs one :)
They are build for life...so good they are :)

They have a site so you can look on google for it.
