Hey guys, I wasn't sure if this would be the right forum to go to, but I figured I'd ask anyway cause you guys are on top of things :)

So I have a 1TB external Hard drive, and I want to partition it so half could be for my PC's Backup (which it is already) and the other half would be an extension for my PlayStation 4's Hard drive. Is this possible, or would the PlayStation take over both partitions?

PS4 only supports FAT32 formatted filesystems. So, I'd guess that if you create a first partition that's FAT32 (for the PS4) and a second one that's NTFS (for your backups) it'll work. It probably won't even look at the second partition.

I'm not sure if it'll work if the FAT32 partition is second, but you can try that first so as to avoid having to move the current data from the backups to the latter partition.
