I used the 8320 which is the same chip as the 8350 but doesn't have the factory overclock. In most cases you can overclock the 8320 to the same speeds you can overclock the 8350 to unless you get a poor chip but you run the same risk of losing the silicon lottery with the 8350 as the higher binned chips are already pulled for 8370's. I'd never buy an 8350 and pay 30-45 dollars more when I already plan to overclock it anyhow.

That price doesn't include ANY of the mail in rebates, so it will likely be a bit cheaper when it's all said and done. You should be able to game pretty much any title at max settings with that if you overclock to about 4.5Ghz.

Or as rolli said, the i5 is probably a better choice but will require you add a couple of case fans and an aftermarket cooler if you want to overclock later. Even at it's stock clock, this probably games better than the AMD build.

Thank you so much, either of these builds will run almost everything at max right?

Absolutely. On a single 1080 monitor. If you have a high res 4K or triple monitor setup with resolutions higher than 1080, you'll probably want two cards but you can always add one later if that's the case. IF you do have plans to add a second card down the road, I'd go with an EVGA G2 series PSU or something of similar quality now so you don't have to replace the PSU to add a second card.

If it is only for gaming anything over 8GB ram would be waste and the FX does not game as well as I5!
