Asrock z87 Killer or Asrock H97 Killer for gaming?

Hey guys, im currently building a new PC now. Im a bit stuck on the motherboard, should i go with h97 killer or z87 killer? im going to use it for gaming, i dont plan do overclocking with it. (My processor:i5 4460)

Depends on what do you plan to do, if you want to do sli, you cant do it on the h97, you'll need the z87. I recomend you a cheaper motherboard if you dont plan to overclock or doing sli, like the h97 pro4.

nahh, i dont plan to do overclocking at all. maybe sli. So, z87 will be able to do sli?

If you have a amd card the h97 will accept it, depends on what card you have

You can do sli and crossfire on that z87 board, and you can only do crossfire on the h97 one.

Then the h97 will be just fine if you want to add another 280 in the future, if you see yourself getting an nvidia card in the future and sli'ing that instead, get the z87
