Hello. I have a problem with my system because whenever I record, I get random lagspikes that takes my fps from 500to20. I'm not too sure if this is my CPU bottlenecking my GPU, but these are my components.
Intel® Core™ i7-4790 Processor (8m Cache, 3.50Ghz Can OC to 4.00Ghz)
Windows 8.1
Storage: 3TB HDD
Memory: 16Gb DDR3 1600Mhz
NVidia GTX750ti 1GB Dedicated Graphics
500W PSU
(No SSD.)
I was wondering if this is the problem or is it that I don't have an SSD?
If I buy an external harddrive, would that count like an SSD?
I'm bad at this stuff, so I'm not really sure what to do.
