Who do I believe?

Solution
I believe Real Temp is correct, as it was designed specifically for Intel processors. Running simultaneous temperature monitoring utilities is not recommended, as they can sometimes interfere with one another causing erroneous readings.

My Bios Temp after left at idle for a while is 40-42

Edit: This is with a 4790k with a stock cooler in mind as im replacing the cooler (deciding which one to get at the moment)

Seems like Core Temp is more accurate then.
