Hey guys I just built this rig yesterday. It has had some weird issues and im not sure if it's a sign of hardware failure or something wrong with the bios?

The PC time was out of sync with my time zone, and I've never seen this before but have heard of it happening. A couple of my games seem to freeze randomly, with GTA san andreas so far having the highest freeze rate. It freezes for a few moments and then continues gameplay. The audio skips as well. I had this issue in the past when my HD4870 was overheating, but my GTX 970 maintains extremely low temps.

The problem is I can't check my CPU temp because CPUZ refuses to boot for some unknown reason. It crashes at the loading/splash screen. Any ideas?

Other than these things I am very pleased with the system performance. The rig maxes out BF4 on Ultra at 100 FPS, granted it still struggles with GTA4 on max settings in certain parts of the city for whatever reason.

I'm using a BenQ 24 inch 1080p display.

I have the same problem. I also have the i7-4790k and CPU-Z hangs at "Monitoring"
I'm using the chips integrated video and I thought that might be what was causing the problem with CPU-Z....but now....maybe not.
