What effect (if any) does underclocking have on TurboBoost

I have an Aspire V5-561G, with an intel i5-4200U. The battery life is underwhelming. I want to underclock it to get some more time out of it. The issue is, i don't know if this will adversely affect peak Turbo Boost speeds. I've tried googling this, but I can't get any answers that seem to apply, since all the results yielded are for desktops. Sorry if this is a dumb question, or similar things have already been asked already.

For best results, get a ssd and re-install windows onto it. You'll notice a huge difference in battery life.

If you are even able to underclock the cpu, it will underclock the turbo speed too. The turbo multi is just a ratio of the base fsb.
