I set my 2 12" car subs in my friends bedroom about 4 ft away from his tv and it looked like this when he turned it on I think it went back to normal after a while away from the magnet but I can't remember for sure if it went away completely.

We're actually serious did you install a cheap surround sound system and put the sub too close to the tv or something? This looks exactly like the typical symptoms of a magnetic field messing with your picture.
