the Corsair k70 RGB has been out of stock ever since release, i am interested in getting the MX blue version of the rgb k70 but they are practically never in stock! i don't know why this would be such a case since the keyboard seemed to be so anticipated!

might anyone know the cause of the constant out of stock on Newegg,Ncix, Amazon?

Probably because of the demand for it. I would imagine that the manufacturing of it doesn't help either, since it's not constructed like your average plastic keyboards. Part of it has to be marketing as well; if you keep such a hyped product at low stocks, then demand continues to grow, people talk about it, etcetc. Keeps the prices high and gives them a reputation that they can use when marketing new products.

Of course, that's all speculation. Could be a result of any number of reasons.

I would go to your local Microcenter, frys electronics, bestbuy and ask them if they have them in stock. IF not try craigslist, or ebay if your dyeing to purchase one. If not then most websites have a email system that notifies you when the product is available again.
I own the non RGB version and if the new version was instock I would have purchased it but I don't need a raimbow at my fingertips personally
