Hello,

I'm going to build my first gaming pc. These are the parts that I've chosen:

CPU: Intel I5 4590 (3,2ghz)
GPU: ASUS STRIX GTX970 (4GB)
MOBO: AsRock H97 Pro 4
PSU: XFX PRO550W Core Edition
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 Advanced (window kit)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8gb CL9 (2x4gb)
HDD: 1 TB Seagate Barracuda

Will my PC work with the chosen parts?
How should it perform on a 1080p monitor? (Games like BF4, Far Cry 4)
Should I go for the ASUS gtx970 or MSI gtx970?

THANKS!

Should work very nice, good build! You could get even a higher resolution monitor easy for this build and still get solid 60+ fps on ultra settings for most games.
For the videocard it is a matter of personal preference. I always just buy the cheapest videocard.
