amd A 10 6800k vs FX 8370 or FX 8320 for pc gaming

AMD A 10 6800k vs FX 8370 or FX 8320 for gaming in games like Minecraft and signal threaded games i want more performance than an A 10 6800k. Would the FX 8370 or FX 8320 out preform the A 10 6800k in signal threaded games (and i'm NOT looking for Intel CPUs!) The FX 8320 is the one i'm considering, what is the performance difference between the FX 8320 and 8370 is the 8370 worth the money or would the FX 8320 be a better for budget over the FX 8370,

It wold be for my current gaming pc witch currently runs on an A 10 6800k

  1. im sorry, but why wouldnt you be looking at intel cpu's? they are vastly superior for single, dual and quad threaded workloads.

You can go here to compare the A10-6800K to those processors for their single core performance: http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Bulldozer/AMD-A10-Series%20A10-6800K.html
  3. I'm going to have to ask the question as well. Why no Intels? There's not an AMD CPU that can compete with an Intel in single threaded applications. It can even come down to an i3 out performing an AMD 83xx in single threaded applications.

thanks i went for an FX 8350
pared with the ASRock 970 EXTREME4 and a Thermaltake TR2 600 watt psu
the data cache of the FX 8350 is bigger than the A 10 witch and there will be better multi thread performance

in signal threaded games performance should be the same maybe a little better
    thank for the help

Good choice except for the PSU. The TR2s are ranked in the 'not recommended' category: https://community.newegg.com/eggxpert/computer_hardware/f/135081/t/45344.aspx?Redirected=true
This would be much better quality (safer too) for only $15 more if you care to exchange it: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438014
  7. If your going with an FX 8350 couldn't you make an Intel build with a locked i5 at a similar price? It may be a little more I guess and depending on where you live it may cost even more. Your decision is good although if budget is an issue I would suggest you get the FX 8320. But if you don't plan on overclocking I guess the FX 8350 will be better than the 8320 due to the 500MHz higher stock clocks
